Hi, gang. And welcome to another Best Of/Worst Of Buffyverse character moments. This post will be looking back at our characters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 10, Issue 11.
"Buffy and the gang struggle with their newfound responsibility -- rewriting the rules of magic. Between that and trying to understand the regular ol’ rules of love, things are a little heated for our heroes. But this rock-solid group of friends are still enjoying adulthood in a thriving city (oh, er… except for Giles), until a seriously bad, bad guy comes to roost in a most unexpected place.
Our Main Characters are: Buffy, Spike, Xan, Dawn, Willow, Giles and Andrew... the whole gang!
Our Characters are Inspiring!
Buffy: I'm giving our Slayer a Half-kudo for her absolute support of Willow in the face of the witch's doubts about her returning to her magic addiction, what with the Vampyr book's powers to shape reality.
Spike: I've nothing for Spike. Not even a little kitten-saving is enough for a kudo.
Xan: No kudos for Xander.
Dawn: Poor, Dawn. She's in such a state of confusion and frustration. And now, I'm not giving her a kudo.
Wills: I've not anything to kudo the witch for.
Giles: No, Giles. No kudo for you.
Andy: Oh, Andrew. Not a kudo in sight.
Our Characters SUCK!
Buffy- I'm going to give Buffy a Half-demerit for pushing so, so hard on Dawn to fix her relationship with Xander. It's too much pressure that Dawn doesn't need right now. Dawn shouldn't feel the need to return to her relationship with Xan if it just isn't right anymore, since her emotional reset.
William- No demerits for our vampire.
Xander- No demerits, just sympathy, for Xan.
Dawn- Poor, Dawn. But at least she doesn't get a demerit, so that's something.
Willow- Nothing for Wills, here.
Rupert- I have to give Giles a Half-demerit. His expecting Olivia to just overlook his immature body to carry on like nothing has changed was awful to do to her out of the blue. And his temper tantrum when she couldn't make that leap in ten seconds was bratty, and nasty.
Andrew- I'm not demeriting Andrew.
