oh, what fun... no, no it really isn't

It was a harrowing night for reasons involving the house that we'll not go into. But I appear to have survived... again....

But the snow is dreadful, the world is too bright and there is too much shoveling to do. But Winter Storm [whatever] barrelled through. The skies are still partially overcast and the snow is still flurrying and I'm going to get my coffee.

I suppose in a certain light and from a certain perspective, it can be pretty. I don't have that perspective.

And because the winds got pretty fierce in the early morning hours, a bit of snow made it through the back door:

The car was left relatively happy, though. It doesn't care if I have to shovel the driveway or not:

I had the furnace go out, too. Thankfully it happened in fall so it wasn't QUITE so cold. But the house would hover in the 50's until I got it repaired, which was ridiculous.

It cost a few hundred bucks to get repaired. Glad that you got off lightly by thinking ahead on the repair contract.

I'm afraid that I'll have a bit of work to dig out, only to be confronted by our next major snow coming WED. Apparently, somebody up there isn't done riding my back [since Sept, life has royally sucked ass]. *SIGH* I keep trying to tell myself that I'm -somehow- being made stronger by this and will survive..., when I'm not yelling at the sky in frustration, anyway.
