Hello, and welcome all to another edition of “Best Of / Worst Of Character Moments”. Today’s subject will involve a closer look at our characters in BTVS, Season 8, Issue 31 - “Turbulence”.
Our focus characters in this issue involve: Supergirl Buffy, Willow, Xander and Dawn.
In this issue, Buffy discovers she’s suddenly flying around like superman with even more strength. Willow suddenly gets her powers back due to some unexplained future event sending ripples back in time. Dawn and Xander are suddenly in lurrve.
Our Heroes Are Best!
Buffy: Okay, admittedly Buffy gets a bit of a cheat with the whole superman powers thingie but she’s still impressively quick in battling three goddesses and she came up with the plan on how to best them and hopefully return the Slayers’ suppressed abilities. All in all, I’d say a KUDO.
Willow: I have nothing to hand out to Willow.
Xander: Xander’s handling of Buffy’s sudden exclamation of possible romantic interest was classy and straightforward. He gets a Half-KUDO.
Dawn: I’ve got nothing for Dawn.
I’m issuing an Anti-KUDO to Twilight’s Wiccan Contingent for the confusion spell that keeps everybody from noticing that Giles, Faith and Andrew are missing in action… especially impressive is that Rupert hasn’t been missed.
Our Heroes Are Worst!
Buffy- Oh my god. Buffy’s hitting on Xander right after he’s making out with her sister is just the worst. I don’t know about in the universe, but definitely on Bay’s mountain home. DEMERIT … and eww, just tacky Buffy.
Willow- Wills doesn’t earn herself a demerit.
Xander- Xander does call off a search for the missing, but he’s under a spell at the time so he doesn’t earn a demerit.
Dawn- No demerit flies Dawn’s way.
