This year's Las Vegas World Finals for the PBR Ford Tough Bullriding Championship was AMAZING. It was tense, it was exciting, it was full of fantastic rides! I was literally on the edge of my seat and gasped out loud several times.
But for the THIRD TIME, Silvano Alves took the trophy!
It was a nailbiter right down to the second from last ride, when Silvano finally had it sown up [he didn't need to ride his last bull to win it, but did].

But in addition to Silvano's congratulations, I also wanted this time out to give a huge round of applause to our bullfighters who week after week are responsible for putting themselves between the bulls and the riders after the get-off. This world finals were full of close calls and excellent team work by our heroes:
Shorty Gorham -

Jesse Byrne:

And one of the toughest men you'll ever want to meet, Frank Newsome:

It gets said a lot on the broadcast, but "Good job, Guys... and thank you!"
