Spanderverse: Tensions, chapter 2

Spanderverse story, Tensions, chapter 2 has been posted in spanderverse.

Shops and Nunneries

Giles tries another grand opening of the Magic Box. Buffy worries that her mother is not being honest with her. Neither has any clue that Benes and Krejci are speaking of war in Verona, Italy or that the Mother of the Nunnery is about to embroil Buffy in a fight with a god.

Chapter 3 of Tensions (of 6)

There's more strain in the air as Willow and Anya begin getting on each other's nerves. There's one too many cook in the kitchen of the Magic Box, if you'll forgive the clumsy analogy. Riley is also feeling the strain of his doubts about his relationship with Buffy and there's the added strangeness of what is going on inside his body....

Tensions, chapter 4 of 6

Euphoric

Riley's behavior is becoming a little erratic as his 'bouts of strength' continue at random. Xander witnesses one, but the commando doesn't seem very concerned about the weirdness.

Xan's finds that his attention seems to be more on Spike than on his girlfriend, these days.

(no subject)

After a run-in with Spike and some frustration with Riley, Buffy and he (Riley, not Spike) return to his apartment for a less Tension-filled evening....

A Tarnished Silver Lining

I wanted to end on a more hopeful note for Riley, what with all of the stuff that he's going to be going through. But even though Tensions is finished the stress for Riley/Buffy, Buffy/Dawn/Joyce, Xander/Anya and Willow/Anya isn't ended.

Look for Chapter One of Old Friends soon.

Buffy site Recommendation

Tangled Synthesis

I love this site. Vrya has a lot of the coolest stuff (not all of it Buffy/Angel related) including Wallpapers (and an explanation of how she created the images), Music Mixes using dialog from each series, projects she created, just all sorts of neat stuff. Naturally, I'm mostly concerned with her Buffy/Angel work, but I whole heartedly suggest popping over to her site and clicking through it.

And I just found her livejournal page... cool.
