Chapter 12, part one: A Night of Bloodletting
In the aftermath of Dracula's 'defeat', life in Sunnydale returns to normal. Xander finds that life is improving except for Anya and Spike's sniping at one another over his attention.
Chapter 12, part two:
Dracula, not quite defeated, launches his attack on Xan leaving him near-death. But he's not the only one as one of his new friends is made to pay.
Chapter 13: A Sweet Bit of Vengeance
With Xan taken care of, Spike and Anya come to a truce. In the meantime, Dracula isn't finished. Tara is targeted and someone close to Xander dies.
Chapter 14, part one: Banishment
The gang deal with the fallout from Chapter 13 as they try to come up with a way to stop Dracula once and for all.
Chapter 14, part two:
Spike and Xander have a one on one conversation in the hospital as they wait to hear word on whether Buffy has stopped the Count.
Chapter 14, part three:
The Scooby gang go on the offensive against Dracula.
Again... sorry for having to break up the larger chapters. You'll have to scroll to take 'em in the proper order. The next story has shorter chapters, so I won't run into this.

Chapter 10: A Plan or Two
Xander plots to get Buffy into the clutches of Dracula while also betraying Anya. The gang find out that Buffy was visited by the vampire and Giles decides she needs to sit on the sidelines and let the Scoobies take care of this one. Yeah, good idea in theory.
Chapter 11: Victory, but Not
The meat and potatoes of the episode, BTVS: Buffy vs. Dracula is recounted and embellished here. Spike takes to protecting Joyce and deciding how to bring up his growing attraction to Buffy (yes, this is Spanderverse, but not PWP-Spander. You'll need to be patient). And just who is this Dawn-girl that suddenly pops up at Giles' place?!
Oh, please... we're all Buffy fans! Like you don't know who Dawn is.
This wraps up the Spanderverse version of the episode. Starting with Chapter 12, we're expanding beyond the television series with Dracula being pissed off.
A note about Chapter 11 -- it was "too long" for livejournal so I had to split it up into two posts... make sure you go to part one (with all the beginning disclaimers) first.

Chapter 8 - Xander's Switch
The gang rush to Giles' for an emergency Scooby meeting. Dracula confronts and subverts Xan's loyalties.
Chapter 9 - Lust at First Bite
While Riley is bribing and threatening Spike for his help, Buffy is being seduced by the master vampire.
In personal news: it's frickin' freezing!! We've been hit with the major snow storm that has already swept the rest of the Midwest, but the Island remains in a center of calm. While the areas around us have gotten 6-10 inches, we've skated by with 2... maybe. It's still snowing now, but its light, small flakes, so it appears we've missed the major nasty. Thankfully I don't work today!
Happy New Year... may 2008 bring more peace and economic prosperity to the world than 2007 ended up giving us.

"Legend Meets Legend" has Dracula introducing himself to Buffy and beginning his seduction; at least until Willow and Xander crash the party.

With them out of the way, I'm free to begin posting the Spanderverse: Dracula fanfiction again. I've posted three chapters today:
Chapter 4 - A Castle in Sunnydale?
This chapter involves Dracula settling in and trying to explain what the hell a castle was doing in Sunnydale to begin with. We also get some background on his magic and there's a few light-hearted scenes with Buffy and Riley.
Chapter 5 - The Night Begins
Sounds a bit ominous, doesn't it? We have some domestic bliss for Riley/Buffy and some worsening tensions between Xander/Anya over his continued friendship with Spike. As you can tell from the 'Spanderverse' moniker, the Xan/Ahn ship will only be getting more strained as things progress. On the Dracula front, he moves into the castle-like bed and breakfast and murders two more men.
Chapter 6 - A Choice for Giles
This is a small chapter relating to Giles' decision to leave Sunnydale in the Buffy vs. Dracula episode. In the Spanderverse, he takes Willow into his confidence in this chapter.

In more personal news, tonight my lover's ex-wife, his daughter and her two kids from another guy come to stay with us for ten days for the holidays. It's not as weird as it sounds ... LOL.
I actually get along extremely well with L. as does, Tom, obviously. We're looking forward to the visit... but 10 days?? :-)
