Giles' Place and Explanations
Pretty much self explanatory in the title. The gang settle in at Giles' apartment and figures out what the heck is going on and where to find the disparate Xanders. Unfortunately, the Xanders are all headed for each other with Commando and Zeppo believing the other is actually Toth and Hyena out to confront and destroy Zeppo... the imposter Xan from the dump. It's a bru-ha-ha!

While Commando-Xander is romancing Anya, Zeppo is hunting for him with Riley's handgun. In the meanwhile, Willow and Tara rush towards Giles' apartment, only to be confronted with "Toth", actually Hyena-Xander!

The three versions of Xander Harris begin to be drawn toward one another. While Commando is arranging a romantic evening with Anya, Zeppo-Xander retrieves a handgun from Riley's place to confront "Toth".
In the woods, Hyena enjoys a meal... until he scents Zeppo on the air....

A Brief Scuffle Ensues
Zeppo-Xander confronts Commando-Xander, both thinking the other is Toth-in-disguise. Who will win in this titanic struggle for dominance? (and when I say 'titanic struggle', I mean a short fight scene)

While Zeppo chases after Commando, believing him to be Toth, Hyena puts the moves on his idea of a mate for the greater needs of his/her new 'Pack'.

The Duplicates
We find out which Xander went home with the gang. Another Xan wakes in the dump, unhappy. Hyena-Xander eats wild animals and thinks about the 'good of the Pack'. What he needs of course, is a strong mate to overthrow Buffy... hmmm..., now who, oh who, would make a suitable mate, I wonder?

In last chapter, we saw Xander take a hit from Toth's mystic staff. We start this chapter with a flashback (my first fanfic!flashback, I believe) and see far more of what happened to our hero after he disappeared from view behind that trash heap.
In other news (or scenes, whatever) we catch up with Spike. You'll recall he stomped off in a right mood over Buffy's dismissal. His obsession with her continues but with no other outlet, what's a vampire to do? That's right! Angry!sex with Harmony!
