Cordelia and Angel have to leave for L.A. thanks to a vision (and because he has his own series to deal with) but Cordy has a few parting words for Dawn, first.
Next story up is: Songs of Pain and Comfort in which Glory has had enough of the delays in finding her Key and steps up the action.

In Dangerous Woman, Dawn comes face to face with Glory. It's a good thing she has a Slayer sister, Witch aunts, and two vampire uncles on her side.

When Dawn takes off again, Spike and Angel prove that they can, in fact, work together if the motivation is strong enough. Unfortunately for Dawn, she's in more trouble then she started out in.

With everyone distracted at the house, Dawn heads over to Giles' for a little bit of larceny. She finds out a bit more than she really wanted to know.

Did anyone expect there to be no sparks between Angel and Spike with them being in close proximity to one another?
Buffy unknowingly puts her foot in it when Dawn overhears her speaking with Giles.
Ben puts one of Glory's dwarfs in his place.

There's not much else to say, the chapter is pretty straightforward.

Grief after Shock
While Buffy and Dawn are still trying to slog through the details of Joyce's burial, life moves forward. Giles gets an unexpected call and has to go back into Watcher-mode.

Drawing Together
As the gang meet at Buffy's, Giles come through for her as we knew he would. More surprising, London also comes through for the Slayer....
Xander takes on the task of informing Spike about what has happened; a scene that should have been included in BTVS.
