Voters in Maryland and Maine legalized same-sex marriage by popular vote Tuesday, the first time in U.S. history that gay marriage has been approved at the ballot box.

I mean huge. So beyond huge that I'm having trouble wrapping my head around it. Oh, NOM -- you've just managed to destroy the entire human race with your failure. I hope you're happy ... no, wait, I hope you're despondent.

Of course, I live in Michigan, but at least we succeeded.

My sincerest congratulations go to Silvano Alves this year for winning the World Finals in Las Vegas. This adds a second year in a row in which Mr. Alves has been the World Champion, and he is the only bullrider in the PBR to ever do so!

I've been remiss in not posting already, but my sincerest congratulations to Mr. Silvano Alves, who won this year's PBR Championship in Las Vegas.

PBR World Title Winner

First of all, I want to say how fantastic this season has been. The Brazilian riders that have come north to ride in the PBR Ford Tough season have just been a collective powerhouse. But, you can't fault American riders like J.B. Mauney, Ryan McConnell or the man in contention for the world title this year, Austin Meier, who in round four spent a phenomenal five seconds or so hanging on the side of his bull to get a score, when he could have just as easily let go of the rope - the man has determination to spare.

But in the end, Brazilian rider, Renato Nunez, pulled it out for the big win. He'll join his fellow Brazilian, Guilherme Marchi - who is my personal favorite rider, and men like Justin McBride, Chris Shivers and Mike Lee - in securing his World Championship title.

Congratulations to Renato.

PBR World Champion 2009

My congratulations to Kody Lostroh for his BIG win in the 2009 PBR Ford Tough World Championship. It was an exciting 8 rounds of bull riding with the best and up until round 7 it could have gone to Kody or J.B. Mauney.

An extremely exciting event with J.B. taking the Series win, but for the big Season Win it was Kody's to lose and he held on with an amazing string of rides.

Fantastic season for those who are fans of the bullriders!

I don't know if 2010 can hope to match the excitement of 2009 - but I can't wait to find out! And a big, personal thank you too to DISHNetwork for carrying Versus, which carries the PBR.
