Best Of / Worst Of Character Moments: Angel
.

Hey everybody, and welcome back. Today’s post is another in the “Best Of / Worst Of Character Moments” series and today’s subject is Angel.

We’re here to take an investigatory look at Issue 17, in which everyone has to deal with the things they did right and wrong in Hell-Angeles, because everybody remembers the things that happened to them. Oh, and they also happen to remember that Angel was their Champion as well which is going to make it a bit more difficult to do his job in the shadows.

Before we leap into it though, a ‘programming note’… Michigan, specifically my neck o’ the woods, just received a heavy thunderstorm and during this, the computer took a hit before I could shut down. It was my own fault… the storm didn’t exactly sneak up on us. But power went out, blipped back in a sorta brownout way, and then went out a second time all within a matter of a few seconds. The result is that the computer won’t power up. I’m praying it is only the power supply, but whatever, it’s got to go to the computer doctor again. It’s on my list tomorrow when I get up to call the guy and make sure he’ll be in the office for the drop off. I’ll let you know how it goes, but the bottom line is that I can’t do any reviews again for the immediate time being. I’m glad I managed to get the Buffy episode out before this latest in a long string of “oh, you thought life was going relative okay… well we can’t have that” crap.

So, back to the issue in question; Our focus characters today are: Angel, Nina, Spike and Betta George. We do see Gwen, Groo, Cordelia the Dragon, Illyria, Gunn and Lorne as well but they’re definitely cameoing and so won’t make our list.

Our Characters: Still The Best!

Angel- I’ve nothing to issue Angel a kudo for this time out.

Nina- Nina also doesn’t earn a kudo.

Spike- Spike does some nice work against Kr’ph and his minions and since he was a Hell Lord after all, I’ll issue him a Half-KUDO.

Betta- George doesn’t distinguish himself for a kudo.

Illyria also defeated a Hell Lord in order to act as a warning for the rest of them to take the comatose Gunn off of their hit list. I’ll give her a Half-KUDO.

Our Characters: Still The Least!

Angel- Angel doesn’t blow anything to earn a demerit.

Nina- Nina doesn’t do anything that makes me annoyed.

Spike- Spike isn’t earning a demerit this issue.

George- Betta doesn’t do anything irritating.

I’ve also no special demerits to hand out.
